About Ouellette Carpentry

Generations of Skilled Craftsmanship Come Alive

Tom Ouellette first discovered his love for fine woodworking when he began to learn the craft of carpentry from his grandfather. At the young age of 7 years, Tom was already helping his grandfather by showing him how to correctly align molding in miter box.

He continued on through summer jobs during his school years, enjoying the influence of his future father-in-law, and in 1974 formed Ouellette Carpentry, Inc.

Today, Ouellette Carpentry is a core group of 6-10 people, and is expanded as required by the scope of work of the project. Tom personally oversees every detail of his projects, and brings a level of accountability to bear that is seldom found in this day and age.

“We’re neat. We’re considerate. If the operations are ongoing, we try not to disturb the surroundings (home or business). We like to maintain a schedule. We’re accountable. We take pride in working well with all other trades. WE LOVE OUR WORK!

After 40 years I am still happiest when surrounded by a pile of sawdust.”
